Our Story
Where it began
I began and opened my first shop in 1996. I named it Granny Wobbly's Fudge Pantry, a name inspired by my maternal Grandmother (pictured) As young children we used to drive up a bumpy little lane to visit our Granny Mona Rose and my brother Keith would say,''we are going to see Granny Wobbly'' and that has always stuck with me along with the memory of the freshly made fudge and fudge cake she would have ready for our visits and a recipe she later passed on to me.
I grew up in a family shop and my late Dad, Lawrence Henry always encouraged me to fulfil my dreams and we shared the same ethos and passion.
I attended Art College and began making fudge to take into my friends but my focus was always to have my own shop and business where I could express my creative side and the two came together in Granny Wobbly's Fudge Pantry.
My passion is as strong today as it was at the start of my vision and business and against all the odds and challenging twists and turns of life, I hope to continue to promote and expand my brand Granny Wobbly's into the future along with my children, my son` Henry, who is setting up and exploring the web and social media side of the business and my daughter Emily who is supporting me on the creative side.
To the future…
